Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The drivers window has stopped working. Electric window. I got it replaced and it works ok , except , occassionaly when i press it to close (go up) it does the opposite.! Mechanic tells me he fitted the complete new mechaism !

In view of that , I would have imagined that when it is powered up it should do without fail what it was designed to do!!

    Any ideas?

Id say that its just catching a bit so the window thinks there is an obstruction and rolls down.

Does it go upwards a tiny bit first?
If this is the case, it probably needs adjustment and if he fitted a used one, lubrication.

I saw this happen on a polo. Can't remember if it needed a switch or loom.

Im presuming that it was the regulator you got replaced. He wouldnt have touched the switch.
