RKP ID on new Hkc 1070

    hi,

    have installed a hkc 1070 - ext bell, panel and keypad so far, plus cabling but not into the panel yet.
    I have a fault free setup at present - no faults found - when in system overview.

    When I go to Wired Dev - Add & ID Dev - keyboards - it shows
    "Devices found 1" but "Identified 0"
    At the start it says "Close tamper to ID device" but as above - I don't have any open tampers. The panel cover is closed too.

    I have renamed it "Hall Keypad".
    any tips or ideas

    Ok

    2 mins after writing this - and numerous other searches.... I got it.

    so for others.
    I opened the keypad - so the tamper was open.
    went to add devices and keypads and the panel knew it was that one.
    the panel or internal bell sounded (much to my surprise :) ) and it now has the keypad id'd on the panel.
