The Irish Greyhound Board has joined forces with one of the biggest global bookmaking names to bring Irish greyhound racing and tote betting to a new international audience.

IGB has reached a strategic agreement with tote wagering business, EEyaa (Gibraltar) Limited, whose customers include William Hill to offer betting and streamed video access online to IGB races.
The new arrangements will allow William Hill’s customers to “comingle” directly into the IGB pools and provide tote betting on Irish racing.
Under the agreement EEyaa will also market and promote tote comingling for IGB on an international basis. EEyaa will engineer the comingling for its shareholders and customers into the IGB pools.
Each week, IGB will offer seven nights racing from a minimum of one meeting per night from the following IGB tracks; Clonmel, Shelbourne, Limerick, Harold’s Cross, Cork, Tralee, and Galway.

    “WIN FOR ALL”
Joe Lewins, Director of Tote and Wagering, Irish Greyhound Board, described the new alliance with EEyaa as a “win for all involved”. “The internationalisation of Irish greyhound racing is a priority for the Board. EEyaa deliver a round-the-clock palette of racing events from international tote content providers to the audiences of its shareholders and customers.
Jamie Hart Head of Customer Experience and Innovation at William Hill commented, “We are delighted to expand our racing content adding IGB races to our fixture list. We anticipate Irish Greyhound racing will be the first of many new overseas racing events that we are going to add for the entertainment and enjoyment of our online audience”
EEyaa’s spokesman commented; “The agreement with IGB is very significant and is the first in a series of forthcoming announcements on rights holder agreements for EEyaa and its participating bookmakers”
“Irish Greyhounds are a compelling and attractive product for our bookmakers and their audiences. We look forward to working with IGB to promote and develop Irish Greyhound racing world-wide.”

Lets hope they get better pictures than those on IGB's own site! Strange thing is, pictures are perfect from the likes of 24dogs.com and Boylesports.
