Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am getting into differing guitar tunings (electric and acoustic). My fantastic Korg tuner isn't chromatic and I'm told I need to get a chromatic one.

    Is this right?

If so, can anyone recommend me a good one? Should I go for plug-in or clip on?

For now, I only use it for playing in my bedroom.

do you have a smart phone? plenty of apps available that do the job just fine imo, esp if you're just in your bedroom at the moment. different story if you're playing live obviously.

Yes I do. Just as effective, even without plugging it in?

Yes the mic on your phone picks up the sound and you'll see clearly if you are in tune. THere's a raft of free ones available, so try a few until you are happy.

    Phone Ok if stuck.

But better to get a clip-on. Small money spend - big reward over time.

I have seen guitarists of literally all levels use this. I personally recommend.

Oddly enough, that's the one I got. Works a treat.
