2G SIM for Motorhome GPS/GPRS Tracker

Hi I was thinking of buying a tracker for my campervan on eBay My van is an old one so don't want to spend too much on it. This seems just about right. However, downside is that it takes only a 2G SIM card. Are these still available here in Ireland and where would I get one. Thanks Brian

2G or GPRS was not shut down,

the requirements just means any normal sim that can send and receive Text messages.

Any sim from any provider that has GSM capabilities will do, you just dont have to use the data part of it (GPRS / 3G)

Pay as you go sim would work, just need to check what size sim the device takes.

Simple stuff.
