Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I am looking at booking a week somewhere in August. Looking to keep the costs down so am considering a holiday home in one of the above. It would be for 2 (maybe 3) adults and 2 kids (ages 4 & 6).
Priorities would be beach, indoor swimming pool nearby and playground.
Has anyone any comments on the above locations or any alternatives?
We're based in the west so really don't want to have to travel for more than 2-2.5 hours.
    Thanks

Can't speak for Enniscrone but Kilkee is a better location for kids of that age than Lahinch.

Safer beach , lots of safe places to swim, lots of walks, lots of child friendly activities.

If they were teenagers I'd be telling you the opposite

I know Lahinch and Enniscrone well. IMO Enniscrone would have the better facilities of the two. Has an indoor swimming pool(waterpoint) and playground at the back of the beach. Also amusements and bumpers. Better options for food as well Indian, new Chinese, Gilroys, the pilot etc
