Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do the media (papers and tv) refer to anybody over the age of 65 as ''pensioners''?? In a road accident,house fire.Please tell me somebody else is insulted with this ''tag''? I hate this with a vengeance:/

OP, I've never given it too much thought really. However, since I was a young child I was warned by my parents to give older people titles - Mrs./Miss. X or Mr. Y and never to call them by their first name.

How do refer to people who are over 65? If I had to label them I suppose I would refer to them as Senior Citizens.

MrsD007, thats how I was brought up also ..... So do people lose their identity when they reach 65 ?? Maybe the media should consider what labels they put on people when reporting!!!
