Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering has anyone had much luck with pike in dysart lakes. It'll be my first time going pike fishing and just wondered if its a good place to start, and ifits ok to still fish for pike now. Plus any tips from you seasoned pros wud be a great help.

just be careful of the venue you choose a lot of the smaller lakes have been netted by the eastern europeans. indeed they target the larger lakes too, nets were found on sheelin last season. get local advice from trusted sources.

Thanks ironblue for the reply. Jut one more question. Is a 2.5 pound test curve on a rod ok for dead bait fishing. Was looking at a few deals for rods.

depends upon the size of the dead bait but 2.5 or 2.75 should be ok. a heavier rod will handle larger heavy dead baits better but less fun playing a fish
