Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Opening cards in front of giver

What is the custom regarding birthday/Christmas cards in the presence of the giver? I did it one year at Christmas after my uncle had handed me a sealed envelope and I think he looked a little uncomfortable.

Just wondering if it is a social faux pas!

I always thought you're supposed to wait until they left to open it.
