Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

I was just wondering if grants are still available for insulating houses. I am weighing up options of insulating either outside or inside of a solid wall.

Would there much of a price differential?( two walls as house is mid terrace)

Also could anyone direct me where I get more info on these grants if they are still available :)

    Thanks
    Barr

Yes there will be a price difference generally external is much more expensive but in my opinion a far superior option.

Make sure ventilation is up to scratch as well.

The grants are still going , the main thing is to go with a reputable company not necessarily the cheapest.

Grants will be gone this coming budget, confirmed.
Driving around Kilkenny you can easily spot all the houses with external insulation works completed.....

Just wondering, do you have some sort of proof they'll be cut?

Sorry, I can't. If I did, I'd have to kill you sort of speak, :D, & that would be difficult on-line!

All I can say is that the grants in their current state will be 100% gone.
