Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have been waking up to the smell of toast the past few days and am puzzled as to what it could be from. I'm the first one up every day and nobody eats toast late at night. Anyone got any ideas why I'm getting this. Of course I did the google search and the first explanation to come up was stroke!

Are you living in an attached house?

If not.. I'd go with toast fairies.

    Paranormal Toaster Activity?

Is your house built over an old toaster dumping ground?

Supposedly, you get that smell when a spider or some insect has crawled up your nose and laid something.

burnt toast = your having a stroke, yes. I hate being hungover at work and being all panicky and someone makes toast, I always think yes this is it, I'm about to die, bring on the stroke.

Sometimes when I use the internet, I have to have a stroke too.

But anyway, let's discuss your toast fairy infestation. Have you tried pouring Domestos into the corner of your room?

My Father used to run a business specializing in such things. I hope you don't mind; but I did a ARPnet reverse DNS ping on your computer and tracked your toast smell...

THE TOAST IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE KITCKEN! REPEAT! THE TOAST IS INSIDE OF THE HOUSE!

    GET OUT NOW! RUN!

THE KILLER IS INSIDE OF YOUR HOUSE COOKING TOAST!

Being serious for a minute, have you checked your sockets? There could be something shorting out and it could be dangerous.

Perhaps you're still asleep and have yet to wake up.
