    Volunteering?

Do you have any talents, interests or skills? Can you travel? What can't you do?

Can't really offer any suggestions without a bit more information (and I don't know Rathoath at all!)

I don't know Ratoath either. If you are a fella, maybe there would be a Mens' Shed organised in the area, or you could start one, check out the local sports clubs if that's your thing. If you are a lady, then you can always find the ladies in clubs, groups, churches, classes, voluntary work, ICA, craft groups etc. Pop into your local library/post office/church/shops to see what is on the notice boards and find out what's going on in the area, check out evening classes though that's a bit late for September now but get ready for February. Well, that's the kind of thing I did forty years ago and I met tons of people.

There could be more than one Ratoath but here's what's on in Ratoath Co. Meath:

A men's shed club just started up, I've no idea what it is but I saw it posted on Facebook

Loads of clubs around Ratoath from fitness to sports, drama and dancing to bridge club. I'd check out the ratoath access page on Facebook and maybe call into the community centre or do a quick google search, should bring up a few clubs.

I know there is a new archery club just started up in Ashbourne that might be of interest to the OP.

However as the OP has never come back to check f there are any replies to his query I think I'll just close this thread.
