Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

you're better off buying a tool kit that is more expensive but better ... i had one of those ... lasted 2 hours ... the mini screwdrivers are useless and the main screwdriver is not easy to hold.

    the tv looks interesting though

If Amazon are still shipping that Samsung 40C530 over here, that would be cheaper and still be a better set IMO

They're grand toolkits for light work, I've had two and used them for work on PCs etc. The "jewellers" screwdrivers have been useful for smaller gadgets, remotes etc. They're definitely not high quality, but they're grand to stick in a drawer somewhere for occasional light use.

LCD's suck though. The maximum possible response time of the technology means that regardless of the model, fast action stuff like football leaves trails.

This is one source for information but they all generally say the same thing about LCD: http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtv-plasmavslcd.shtml

If I bought the toolkit as well, I'd have to resist the temptation to dismantle the tv with it.

Are the TVs in the UK not MPEG-2 though? Whereas Saorview is MPEG-4. Or is it compatible with both?

Have a look over in the terrestrial forum. To put it in short, manufacturers do no make completely region specific tvs in many cases and this is one of those cases. That tv will work all over Europe, including here! To put your mind at rest, do a search in the terrestrial forum and you'll find other users that have no issues gettin saorview on a XXLD450 LG
