HDD fail just out of warranty

    Hard drive has filed on Dell Inspiron 15 (N5030) 3 months out of warranty.
    So badly can't even access recovery tools.

    What chance is there Dell will fix?

    Chance they'll fix it? Quite high.

    Chance they'll do it for free? Not so high unfortunately.

    You could get onto the NCA, they advise the reasonable expectations clause of contracts under this so you might get lucky.

    Have contacted the NCA as you suggested. We'll see what they say.
