Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    does anyone know, which is the cheapest Irish provider for computer parts, or could anyone recommend a decent one,

    I'm planing on building a new PC, I've looked at quiet a few UK ones, as they are the cheapest, but the postage and conversion rate from euro to pound is to great.

    Buying Irish would be good, no1. for the economy, and 2. postage.

    Advice, suggestions, and ideas appreciated.

    Elara seems to be a good site. Just had a laptop delivered not 5 minutes ago. It's a great website too, loads of stuff. Not sure whether it's cheap or not.

    is that german site, the one with .de ... would it be "safe" or risky buying german parts. Would all the hardware instructions be in german. i.e the bios etc . . .

    I've built plenty of computers using it and its perfectly safe. Pretty much all the manuals come in several languages anyway and all the hardware I've gotten the BIOS etc. was in english. Just don't buy a keyboard as most of them have the German layout.

    I've made countless orders from Komplett and Dabs over the years. Both have similar pricing structures, but Komplett edge ahead for me. I've had a couple issues with Shipping and stock with dabs over the years, but nothing to stop me using them completely.

    I have not found overclockers prices in the least bit competitive, displayed prices do not include vat and their shipping charges to Ireland are beyond belief... Perhaps it was just the two occasions I tried to buy some parts but I don't think so...

    I know... I know... it's an old post but it's still pertinent...
