Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

My mother has had her provisional for many years and has failed her test 5 or 6 times. Mainly on reverse around corner, not keeping up to the speed limit and position when turning.

I'm wondering if anyone knows a good instructor around the navan/trim area in Meath. She is in her 60's and can sometimes get "flustered" if something goes wrong. She is much better now she's moved to an automatic, and I'm comfortable enough in the car with her, so it's really only the actual test she gets wrong!

    Thanks!

I'm sure any motoring school will have someone who will put her at ease. You do know that if she takes her test in an automatic, that she will only be licensed to drive an automatic, don't you? She will not be allowed to drive a manual car.

I've checked the ism site, just wondered if anyone had any experience with anyone and could recommend.

She knows about the restriction on automatic. She really only uses hers as a run around
