I found this interesting essay via Facebook today, applying our world's political theories and moral dilemmas to the world of Game of Thrones.

I think the author has by and large hit quite a few nails on the head, but I think they've left out Littlefinger and Varys in their piece.

There might be some spoilers in there if you're just starting out the show, and the comments section might also be dark and full of spoilers.
