Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Psych-folk three-piece, great songs seeks drummer and bassist

    Hey,
    We are Halfbeak. Three very good friends on the look-out for a drummer and bassist to complete our line-up. We are folk-rock with lots of male/female three-part harmonies, quite psychedelic/trippy/heavier/experimental in parts. We have a bunch of very good songs with clever words so should be fun to record and gig them in the near future. We are looking for someone who is reasonably competent, but more importantly someone who likes our stuff.

    Some influences/similarities: Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Velvet Underground, Daniel Johnston Sparklehorse, Julian Cope, Syd Barrett, Radiohead, Jesus & Mary Chain...

    I've just put up two tunes on our soundcloud (/halfbeak) we're in the middle of recording. Unmixed, unfinished, but will give you the idea:
