Acrylic solvent cement?

Anyone know where to get some, i have had no look in any DIY stores or even ebay or amazon.. no one ships it to Ireland

what are you useing it for, There is solvent cement and acrylic sealer. Just checking we are thinking the same

Get you now. sorry i dont know but i always use araldite it has a great range.

Yeah thats no good.. It has to be transparent and the water like consistency, Not even sheet plastic stores sell it here.. and they wont post from Britain, Is it a restricted chemical or something? and thanks for the help

Maybe ask over in the Aquarium sub-forum of Animals & Pet Issues. I think acrylic may be used for some custom aquariums and terrariums, so they might know where to get it or at least point you to a custom aquarium manufacturer who might be able to help you out.

I have used this before for welding (it welds plastic together, doesn't glue them) perspex sheets together and it's good stuff!

You will probably find one cheaper from another seller, I just stuck in "plastic weld" and picked the first one that popped up!

I got Weldon 16 from WI Polymers in Clondalkin. You'll find them on the net. Easy to do business with with fast delivery.
