Hello! 3 weeks before Christmas a friend of ours
moved back to Ireland – we lost the paper with his
address on it – so I am hoping some one can help me
get in touch with him. All I can remember is his brother
owns a butcher shop in ColDown.
(my buddies name is Gary McDowell)

Might this be "Co. Down" with is short for "County Down", which is south and east of Belfast?

I did a search on Eircom Phone book for Gary McDowell in Co. Down but got nothing back.

Just google butchers in co Down and ring them all.

I know of a Butchers called McDowell's Butchers. But it is on Linn Road in Larne. Which is about 35 to 40 miles from County Down.

OP, have pm'd the store address and store number to you, on the off chance it is the brother, and seeing as they share the name and are in the same trade, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

feel that I have a good chance at finding my buddy.
If it’s helpful my buddy is planning on getting his job back
at a matters factory but I think it is in Dublin. Also I am sorry I posted my first post in the wrong section. Cheers!

Be careful, some search only search the Down District Council area - there are about 5 councils in county Down.
