Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Old news!

    It's one of many such sites - here's a few more, and I'm absolutely certain that the folk here can add many, many more:
    However, if you feel motivated to push computer education, I'd suggest pushing the Irish-invented worldwide phenomenon CoderDojo which reaches kids across the globe. They too have a set of online learning information on their website.

    Maybe old news to you but that is absolutely no reason to knock it.
    The issue with a lot of these sites is that folk think they can just shove up any old crap on a website without any understanding about how web based learning needs a completely different approach from the traditional class based/ book based learning.

    It's been around a while but I found it to be great, recently done the rails tutorial on it and found it to be an excellent intro.

    I also like the challenges on CodeEval - https://www.codeeval.com

    We have a pluralsight subscription in work that is somewhat useful but I find most of the courses to drag on with irrelevant info rather than giving proper hands on tasks to properly understand what you are doing.

    I've also done courses on Code School and Udacity and found them to be pretty good.

    Nobody was knocking anything. You have discovered the web resource that is Codecademy - good for you.

    This reads like you're still on a high from your discovery/indoctrination.

    I understand that you want to tell the world about it but it's not exactly news on this forum as a simple search would have shown.
