Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Try a diesel specialist or commercial/agri parts place, these things tend to be standard sizes that fit many things.

if the new part was hard to get or was expensive could i drill out thr sheared off bleed screw, tap a new hole and put a bolt through it?would it work with a different size bolt or maybe it was engineered to only use the size thats in it?id say the hole is only about 3mm,can you get a tap that small,or even a bolt??

You should be able to extract the bleed screw and replace it, they are fairly standard as are the filer bowls if you had to replace the whole thing.

Yes you could drll and tap and use a bolt, the original is probably something like 1/4 BSP or NTP. The 3mm hole will be through the original bleed screw, yes you can get metric and BA taps that small but will be easy to break.

There does be loads of advertisements in the back of magazines like "classic tractor" for lister engines and parts, second hand and broken. A lot of parts can be ordered online, youll find the websites advertised there too.
