Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi been lurking in awe of you detailers.First thought you were nuts and now am full of respect!

    Have a power washer (i know to be careful). Its a basic nilfisk and have a bottle that goes on the lance.

    What product would you recommend please, would like to buy only from detailing shed as I believe that's currans setup.

    Thanks

    Definitely have to recommend cleancar, their stuff is always great value and quality. Only people I would buy from.

    The bottle that comes with the Nilfisk power washers isnt a snow foam lance. It will spread detergent and make a few bubbles but thats about it. If you want a thick foam coating that will dwell on the car for 5-10 minutes, then you need a proper lance!

    Opps, forgot to recommend the OP a snow foam product! :o

    Orchard Autocare Cotton Candy is my current favourite.....the only one Ive found that ticks all the boxes....
    * Goes on nice and thick and dwells for a lengthy time
    * Cleans pretty well - there is no such think as a touchless wash; i.e: snowfoam and rinse and the car will be clean...sorry, not in Ireland! ;)
    * Wont strip off your wax/sealant
    * Decent dilution ratios
    * Reasonably priced

    Other snowfoams, may out-perform Cotton Candy in one or two of the attribute above, but that usually offsets one of the others. For example, a snowfoam that cleans extremely well, often will strip off wax/sealant pretty quickly!

    Thanks Curran. Looks like I need to rethink but hope this kicks of some deals and business for you and the other posters.

    Can you burst my bubble/budget by pointing out a proper lance.

    Here you go.
    Excellent lance, once its taken care of and give a quick bit of maintenence every now and then!

    Group Buys ran on BMW-Driver in the past, no issues with any and lots of snow around the country! :)

    Curran, Does that lance have an attachment so it can be used with a nilfisk?

    Yeah, the Nilfisk fitting is there....often referred to as the Kew/Alto fitting, in case you are doing searches in future! ;)
