Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"Concience Clause" and Anti-Gay Amendment in The North

    I'm sure some of you have read about this or heard of it in the news, but the DUP are proposing an amendment to the law to make it legal to discriminate against people, including LBGT people, on the grounds of strongly held religious beliefs. So, essentially, it would be legal to refuse to serve a gay person in a shop/hotel etc.

    There is a petition with over 150,000 signatures on it against this and the petition will be submitted to the NI government who will be voting on this soon. Sinn Fein, SDLP, Green Party and NI21 have said they will vote against it, but a strong petition from the public will also go to show the DUP and people who think like them that this is completely wrong. You can vote from anywhere in the world, and perhaps people on the forum would like to vote also. Feel free to share as well amongst your friends. The petition ends tomorrow so hurry!

    Currently has over 150,000 signatures, if it gets 200,000, it will be one of the biggest ever public petitions to ever be seen in NI politics. Help us show the DUP and people like them that discrimination is wrong, no matter who it is against, no matter where in the world. Thanks. :)
