Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
    I have an old Warwick Thumb bass, it needs a new nut and by the looks of it some of the frets need replacing. (They seem to have worn in the middle)

    Does anyone know of anyone that could take a look around the Meath area?

    Inexplicably there are no Warwick dealers/disturbers in Ireland, or no dealers that I know of anyway. Have you contacted Warwick directly and asked for advice?

    You can buy the parts you need directly from Warwick, which I think would be the best option, then get someone here to install. It's what I did when I had my old Streamer refretted a few years ago. Gerry Haze is in Dublin and has a growing excellent reputation. Derrick Nelson is good but expensive.

    I spoke to Warwick directly and they can do all of the work, its just the hassle of sending to Germany to be done so was looking for someone over here.

    I think having the job made at Warwick won't be cheap at all. Plus the bass will be shipped TWICE, not very nice on a freshly fretted bass.
    I'd have it made locally, if possible. You can buy both frets and nut on the Warwick online shop.
