Valuation of a car

I am planning to sell my car privately and just wondering how much I should be looking for it. Its a 3 door Toyota Corolla 2005 strata with roughly 72000km on the clock. What would be the lowest I should take. There are a couple of scratches and coin sized dent on the paint work but nothing major. It was serviced fully last January and is in great running order. Also it has 4 months NCT and Tax still valid on it. Also what would be the best way to sell it i.e where to advertise it. I suppose adverts and carzone etc?

What colour is it?
I'd suggest holding off or a month and get a fresh nct on it to get top money.

3dr corollas in the right colour always make good money.

Thanks for the info If I do renew the nct what value would you place on it?

Go on donedeal and have a look at what there going for.. also would advise you to sell on there as your almost guaranteed to get a buyer.

I cant find a similar car for sale on Done deal so I was wondering what I should sell it for. If anyone has any advice please post. Also do you think Done deal is the best site to get a quick and efficient sale or should I advertise it elsewhere?
