Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I am wondering if anyone on here has advice on brands and reputable businesses to deal with in picking a curved stair lift?

    Thanks in advance

I wouldn't have any knowledge on this topic but I would assume that the same brands are in the UK where these kinds of discussions are more common,
Try this forum stair lift forum UK
Here's a company in Ireland, seems legit, Olympic Stairlifts
    Another Irish Stairlifts
Here's a directory of products courtesy of Assist Ireland, http://www.assistireland.ie/eng/Products_Directory/Building_Environment/Lifts/Stairlifts/

Thing to do is note the models they are selling, ask to contact previous customers, perhaps there is someone near you that you can go and have a look, find out what their experiences were like with the installer, the supplier, the device itself.
See if there are rebates available from the state to reduce the end price, there may be grants available and your local HSE or Citizens Advice might be of great help there.

edit: Here's a link to the relevant Citizens advice page, concerning mobility grants, which includes ramps and stair lifts link

No bother, I don't pretend to know much on the topic but there are great resources out there.
Let us know how you get on.
