Probably thinking, "Who is this idiot? I thought I'd be talking to a fellow professional journalist."

and the fact that she was "Fox News" says something, not short on sensationalism at the best of times.

more speculation....the lavalahn speculation show today..:(

Is there another topic you think they should be covering today? If not, what would you expect a phone-in show, happening a few hours after the accident and before hard information is available to sound like?

Yes, and amused that the comments here about the show are often as silly as the ones made on it.

He owes us a half an hour since last week. He's giving it back to us in installments

Well not really, in fact he owes us even more now with all the cutting he was doing to the various US news channels.

There is little in the way of facts as regards todays show, the presenter based his assumptions on the balcony collapsing on the absence of "steel struts so to speak" as he put, this evidence taken from photos taken at the scene. Of course this may or not be the cause but it seemed to be the only reason from the presenters point of view which to my mind is speculation and nothing else.

Today`s programme reminded me of the tragic case of and Irish girl murdered in Scotland just few months ago when a caller to the show speculated that alcohol was a factor in her murder which if I recall correctly went unchallenged by the presenter.

Duffy by all means was right to start the show with this tragic news, but after 15 mins he should have went on to a different topic....it wasn't right to dwell and speculate about what happened it seemed distasteful and wasn't fair on the relatives of those lost.
