Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Replacing shocks in pairs

It is often said that if a new shock absorber is needed on a car, that the other shock on the same axle should be automatically replaced to avoid imbalance. A few months ago I got the nearside front shock replaced on my Laguna and recently I brought it for its NCT.

Nearside shock had 20k miles on it
Offside shock had 190k miles on it
Imbalance from NCT: 0%
So based on this I would say that there is no problem replacing 1 shock at a time.

I once (accidentally) drove through a red light, got stopped by the police and was let off with a warning.

So, based on this, I would say that it is ok to drive through red lights
