Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm running an Ultegra FC6800 MA 11sp compact 50/34 on my good bike (Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 7.0) at the moment. I want to change to a 52/36. However I can only seem to find these online with the MB 'code'. Does anyone know what the difference, if any is?

Where are you getting the MA from in the context of a chainset rather than just the chainrings? Looking at the 6800 crankset techdoc, it seems that MA, MB and MD are all codes to describe various chainring combinations, and the crank arms are independent of this. MA looks to be 50-34, MB to be 52-36 or 46-36 (CX, at a guess?), and MD to be 53-39. So a set of MB 52/36 should switch straight onto your chainset in place of the MA 50/34 rings.

Thanks cython, I think you're right there. Stamped on the outer ring - the 50 - it says '11S 50-34 MA'.I was afraid, ordering online, that they might not be compatible in some way or a different colour etc., etc. I was thinking back to when Ultegra brought out the 'ice grey' in addition to the standard silver.....Problem solved!
