Lip Sync Battle (Spike)

Coming off the success of the Lip Sync Battles on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon comes Lip Sync Battle which will air on Spike. Hosted by LL Cool J with Chrissy Teigen, each episode will showcase 2 A-List contestants battling each other. Celebrities include Malin Akerman, Jimmy Fallon, Julianne Hough, Dwayne Johnson, Anna Kendrick, John Krasinski , John Legend, Justin Bieber, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Hota Kotb, Mike Tyson, Queen Latifah, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Victoria Justice, and Will Arnett.

have to wait to see what emily blunt does. There are some big names in this show

Watched the first one with Jimmy Fallon and Dwayne Johnson.

To be honest, i thought it was worked well as an occasional bit on Jimmy Fallon but regular episodes with 2 dreadful hosts with irritating "smack-talk"? It just took the fun out of it!

Luckily the show's youtube page adds all the battles so you can avoid watching the full episodes.

watched two last night it was a bit better then I expected but the contestant arn't paying enough attention to the Lip sync part of the battle

they do two songs one regular and one in costume with back-up dancers etc

the chrissy tegan one is pointless and annoying

I wonder if its a knock out competition I don't know if any one can out do Anne Hathaway's version of Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball, even Anne Hathaway.

It's on Wednesday night's at 22.30 with two repeats.

Krasinski initially created the bit while road-tripping two years ago with Merchant and Krasinski’s wife, Emily Blunt. They were trying to come up with ideas for Krasinski to do during a Late Night appearance when their silent versions of songs in the car morphed into an idea.

Channel 5 show it. Yeah they started geo blocking all the youtube clips except for teasers after the Anne Hathaway episode. The only battle that can be viewed is the first half of the battle between Dwayne Johnson and Jimmy Fallon.

Taraji's hair was starting to confuse me.

So the long black hair was a wig?

Also a couple complaints would be that the cameras spent too long not on Chrissy during her Lip Sync. And also her booth got in the way for the performance at times.

She only had long hair for the promo and rehearsals so they could have been on for when she had time off between filming empire as her character has long hair.

Same here, watched the first episode with David walliams and haven't watched it since. You can notice the quality of production between the two shows when the same songs are used. An example would be Olivia Munn and Alesha Dixon both doing Bad blood.
