New Gmail app - not released officially - it's being rolled out slowly over the next few weeks, but you can get it from AndroidPolice here: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/06/03/download-new-gmail-for-android-4-5-with-slide-out-navigation-and-brand-new-inbox/

Really like it so far, the swipe for menu is great - you have to wondering why no one thought of this type of thing before... I think the big icons might be good, not sure how ti categorieses etc but on first glance it seems like it does a pretty good job.

I guess it's cause of the new gmail features

If your talking about "Chat" in gmail, you can turn that off in the settings!

no, im talking about conversation mode on android gmail.

have they made it easier to select all and set as read? thats what i want!

Ya, that irritates me as well. I much prefer single emails.

I like it but it wouldn't be to everyone's taste.

this update really has zero impact on my life, except that theyve moved those handy archive / delete buttons from the bottom.

Want I don't really like in it, is that you now need four widgets just to check mail on one of your home-screens!
