Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

REAL SWORD TYPE 97

I have a real sword type 97 for sale.

Package include spare parts which are brand new. Spring guide, piston head, cylinder head, tappet plate wiring harness and rail system mount.
Gun. Original box including real steal cleaning rod, manual ect. Original mag OR can give a G&P 120 round mid cap or lonex hi-cap depending on what you want. Only reason why I say this is stock mag doesnt actually lock into place and can just fall out.

    DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERY!

Gun also featured a rail on top hand guard and a rail for lower hand guard. Bot of which can be removed.

Fantastic AEG. This has been more of a wall hanger to me then use. I haven't used it for a game. Just out the back shooting. Feels great to hold performance is amazing as you would expect from Real sword.

Gun is shorter then a standard M4 carbine and has a longer barrel.

Asking price is 500. Including shipping if needed.

Based in waterford. Clocks in at 325 fps w/ .2g bb

    Thank you.

Batterys are a small issue I will admit. I never skirmished it so I never invested in a battery for it.

There are a few ways to get a battery in. The piston grip. Best battery size. L= 97-96mm or less W=29-28mm or less. Height= 20 or less.

Or you could fit those really thin lipos that are about 2-3 mm thick in the guard. And have them laying down flat or to the sides of the hand guard.

Or extend the wires and have it externally powered by say a PEQ box on the rail.

Or get a custom made battery for it which can be done for about 30 ish. And that can sit in the gun and in such a way you will never have to remove it, just remove the tab at the rear of the pistol grip and can charge it in the gun.

Here is a link to real swords website on what the batterys look like. http://www.realsword.com.hk/faq1.htm Under the title " 7. Regarding the usage of Type 97 series battery "

This style battery is the really thin one I am on about for laying flat in the handguard. I dont see why it shouldnt fit.

http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-1300mah-35c-3302.html might fit with a tight squeeze in the pistol grip

http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-800mah-20c-continuous-discharge.html will fit. Might have to remove the handguard to connect and disconnect the battery though.

As same with this one http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-800mah-25c.html

    And this one also. http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-850mah-30c-continuous-discharge-lipo-battery.html

Seriously completely stock, about 1yrs old. Brought and plinked 3 mags through it and returned to box.was intended to be used as a base for a DMR project but never got the time.

Any other info on internals? Everything else stock or? Fps and rof? How old is it also? Come with original stock and pistol grip? Any faults at all?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,020 ✭✭✭chris20

All the original internals have been changed out, last time I checked it was around the 300fps mark,as for rof I honestly haven't a clue,it's currently set up for a 7rd burst, but defiantly near the 30bbs/sec
The original stock and pistol grip are on another build in afraid,it's about 2 years old but looked after
This also has the proper trades under the paint

Hi, it's a free float g&g 25. It never came with a silencer . As I said it's completely stock and never used in game.
