Still works out cheaper. The guitar I bought is $899. So far it has cost me €800 but it hasn't come through customs yet.

However, that's still about half what it would cost here

I wouldn't really expect anything less, the Mark IV is easily the best amp I've ever heard, bar none. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who holds such a view either.

i asked the guy chris to mark the value of what i got from him way down and he did no questions asked.. saved me a hundred euro or so as i can to pay arse all duty. nice guy. pity about his taste in web banners.

does ordering from the UK incur the wraths of customs?

Ordering from within Europe means no import or VAT.
