Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lol. People need to man up! It's just a bit of ****ing snow. I made it from Belfast to Cork last night no problems. Why is everyone being such a pussy?

Well I think we all learned to watch out for icy spots when the RTÉ news camera is around ;)

I agree. But either way theres nothing being done. Same snow keeps freezing up on the roads. Havent seen one slow plow around DC this week.

Most people are either way to lazy or dont have enough rare-sense to drive in deep snow :)

Only things they seemed to have learnt is to knock up a webpage on www.transport.ie pointing to status updates from Dublin bus, Irish rail etc.

They may have ordered some more grit and salt, but that's about it.

Yeah, but you're in Washington, how does that help us ?

But theres hardly any point of throwing grit and salt on snow if it gets mixed with the sludge or snowed over.

On the news every single country was removing snow of the roads with snow plows. Even mini ones for path walks.

Here? You see people doing donuts in the middle of a crossroad :)
