Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Folks,

Does anyone know how many tolls we will have once we finally get our motorways. Is it true that we will have 2 on the Cork Dublin route? I travel Cork - Belfast quite a bit, will this mean me paying 4 tolls?

    X.

    Yes. Fermoy and Port Laoise.

Yes, but compared to other countries they are quite cheap, as is the petrol.

    Thanks Victor,

It would be nice if they held off until the M8 was completed.

Don't forget the two tolls on the M3 at Dunshaughlin and north of Navan.:mad:

At the moment some of the toll bits are completed, so you pay the toll and 10km later get booted onto cart track.

Wont be so bad one the interurbans are done, you wont 'notice' the tolls as much because you'll be on DC all the time.

    What road is this?

Fermoy bypass. Not really cart track, but travelling northbound you go up the DC watergrasshill bypass, onto the M8 Fermoy bypass, 17km or something of tolled road, then the DC ends and you end up on S2 again.
