Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought it would be fun for eveyone to share their top five holy grail beauty products! I own a lot of make up and skin care but I only have a select few products that actually make me think "wow, thank god I found this!".
    I think my top 5 would be;

    5. Ysl shocking mascara
    4. Palmers cocoa butter body moisturiser spf 15
    3. Pureology hydrate shampoo
    2. Elemis beauty flash balm
    1. Mac studio fix fluid

Honourable mention to Oskia Renaissance cleansing gel. That stuff is the shiz.

Estee Lauder Double Wear - Always go back to this foundation. Stays on all day! Coverage isn't too heavy if used with moisturiser.

Nars Laguna Bronzer - Perfect bronzer for my skin tone. Makes me look a bit healthier.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (Fragrance Free!) - Only stuff that stops my lips from being chapped. Hate the fragranced version though..

L'Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes Excess Mascara - Doesn't have the best reviews, but I love it!

Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Treatment - Since I started using this my hair is in much better condition. Lasts for ages too!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Euphoria Intensifies

MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study (Easily my most used eyeshadow product. Love it to bits as it such a great base/colour to wear on a lazy makeup day)
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum (really helps to sort out my dehydrated skin and leaves it feeling nice and hydrated)
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush body butter (I LOVE the smell of this, sweet and citrusy. It's also great for my super dry skin)
Illamasqua blush in Naked Rose (Illamasqua blushes are ridiculously pigmented and this colour is just the perfect everyday colour)
MAC lipsticks (I can't pick one!! I love all my MAC lipstick collection, from the neurtals to the brights. Fave neutral is Lustering and fave bright is Violetta (although I know Heroine will take that place when I finally get my hands on it))

Honourable mentions to Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, ELF Studio Powder Brush and Dermalogica Barrier Repair.

Ooh, do you find Sudocrem good for spots? I heard the same but then was told it's actually bad for treating spots, so then I wasn't sure..

    Loving reading everyone's top products!

I don't use it for every little spot, more so those occasional angry, red cystic ones that need something to take down the inflammation. I'm talking a big dollop of it on the spot for a couple of nights until it's calmed down. Maybe it's technically bad for your skin but I find it to help.

I think it's good for spots that have come to a head and popped but not the big red sore ones that don't seem to ever come to a head.

    In no particular order...

    - Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz or Nectar (depending on the look :) )

    - Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony. This is a little darker than my natural brow but I like that I can do a little definition or build it up as necessary.

    - No 7 Cleansing Oil. As good as Dermalogica Pre Cleanse IMO and a fraction of the price. Smells lovely too.

    - No 7 Lash Impact Mascara. This is the only mascara I've ever owned that adds volume and curl to my poker straight lashes.

    - NARS Audacious Lipsticks. I only have two of these - Grace and Angela but I'm itching to get more. They're so creamy and pigmented and last forever. I love the magnetic lids too, no chance of the lid popping off in the handbag and mushing into everything!
