Found an inexplicable puddle under the passenger seat a couple of weeks. The floor has been damp ever since and it's fairly stinky. Don't think it came from below. There are some pipes under passenger seat. Not sure what they are. Could they be leaking? It's a 97 Volkswagen Golf.

Maybe. But I don't think so as nowhere else (roof, door, seat) was wet. I think I'll try a carwash on the way home to make sure.

    Cheers.

I'd second the sunroof drains being clogged. Its easy to fix, just find where the drains exit and unclog them. That way you eliminate the sunroof as a source of the leak.

It happened to me on my MK4 golf. I also modified the drain ends to prevent it happening again.
