dull headlight lenses??

    I know thia has probably been covered before but can't find anything,I have a drivers side headlight which is dull and want to restore it back to normal,have tried some of the silly tips on youtube like avacado,lemon,etc but only works slightly.
    does anyone know how to do this or have a link.

    Polishing compound is the best thing to use on dull lenses in my experience.

    or Brasso of all things. Works remarkably well. Better than toothpaste in my experience, but yea JohnBoy26's suggestion of proper polishing compound is probably the best bet. I found Brasso to the least harsh of the various things I've tried so if the dulling isn't too bad...
