Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Personal Injuries claim following accident

    Whats the procedure for making a claim for personal injuries and trauma suffered following an accident. Insurance have settled for damage to cars only but victims suffereed injuries and trauma as a result of accident.

    Have you engaged a solicitor?
    You most likely need legal advice on that one, or at the bear minimum speak to your insurance company.

    What one person on here tells you may differ depending on who you are insured with.

    You don't have to go through a solicitor, but unless you are familiar with the process it might be advisable to speak to one first.

    No they have not engaged a solicitor at the moment. They are a couple in their 80s so it would seem.to be the most sensible thing to do but their intention is to pursue it themselves through the injuries board.
