    Hi,
Does anyone know of a reliable mechanic in the south Cork area that services Citroen C4s?
They seem to be a awkward car to service and not all mechanics are familiar with them.

    Thanks for any help.

    A C4 isn't a complicated proposition for any mechanic :)
Automotif are a very very decent outfit and will no doubt look after the car perfectly :)

I know there is a Citroen specialist in the Macroom area. I'll try to get his number if that's not too far for you. If it's something tricky you're trying to get to the bottom of. I shouldn't think any decent mechanic would struggle with an day-to-day servicing.

Are mechanics telling you this? The C4 has no special systems or requirements over other cars.

it seems the position of air filter makes it quite difficult to get at and seems to bring tears to their eyes so some dont bother changing it.
Thats the main reason I'm looking for someone reliable.

Jese if your talking to mechanics who are afraid to service a C4 because of its slightly awkward air filter then you need to reverse out of those back lanes that your looking in:eek:

There used to be a guy up in Cooney's Lane..

Worked on nothing but Citroen cars.

I used to deliver for a Motor Factors a while back,,so I'm not sure if he's still there or not.

    Worth looking into though.

EDIT....The name was Grange Motors.. ;)
