I have Oil heating and unable to afford the switch to gas.
Trying to save money and thought i would try switching to coal. I have a fire in kitchen and sitting room. We lit the fire and it didnt heat the rads! Anyone any idea should i be switching anything on/ off? We tried the flue at the back and then at the front.

Oil is just too expensive :(

    Thanks for any help.
