Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there a particular qualification required to teach in an ASD unit in a secondary school or can any qualified teacher work there ? Just wondering about the possibility of working in one.

Funnily enough, unless things have changed since last time I looked, you actually have to be working in an ASD unit before you can apply for the specialist diploma in teaching students with ASD.

So really, anyone can work in an ASD unit. There are some short courses run by ICEPE, Middletown Centre for Autism and the SESS that could be of some use to you.
