    Yep. Think the reason is to do with data protection.

    If you look at threads that are a year old there's a good few closed accounts, some of whom re-register (have no idea why but their call) after a while.

    Bye bye, I wish you had filled us in a bit more on where your going that meant you have no phone, laptop/iPad or Internet/3G connection that meant such drastic action on your part but anyway best of luck in your technology free domain, don't know how you'll manage but I'm sure you've taken that into consideration before moving there.     I suspect it was more to do with throwing toys out of the pram after a row in the spurs forum. :D Perhaps there should be a few days process to close accounts - don't process the closure for a couple of days to allow people to reconsider / calm down.

    I think its cool to open another account after one is closed. Look at Cleavelandhotpocket, for example. :)
