Wanted: Comedy Summer Roadtrip Banger

    Really simple one here guys. One almost banger required. Must have just enough tax and test to get us till the end of June. Wont have to have a hope in hells chance of passing another NCT. 800cc - 5 litre V8, we couldn't care less. Needs to accommodate 4 lads, beer, tents, sleeping bags, all our bags , crocodile pool loungers, novelty dash board garden gnome and various other junk ..... so something like a Daihatsu HiJet passenger van or a rough Cinqucento will do the job (the bigger the comedy factor the better ;):p) Willing to spend up to .... eh ..... 150 ish quid and dont mind if it needs a little surgery to complete 300 odd miles.

    Also we intend to do some cosmetic upgrades to this said vehicle and we're looking for a theme. We were thinking along the lines of a car about to be tested by NCAP. Again your suggestions please.

    I just cant wait to see what ye all come up with :p
