I was thinking of organising a surfing charity event. Just not too sure what exactly be best one to go with. Just wondering has anyone been to an surfing event for charity.

Might be best to contact one of the Surf Clubs or the ISA. At least this will help with insurance, support, promotion etc.

Do you have a charity in mind?

Was thinking it would be a good idea. Perhaps a sponsored paddle, as if you are organising a charity event in advance youhave to pick a date and cannot guarantee surf? Or perhaps try to incorporate a beach clean up, as part of its charitable objectives? Best of luck with your possible charity event anyway.
