Any suggestions for finding a book when I can't remember the title or author?

The story is about a girl who accuses two women (Mrs Sharpe and her daughter) of kidnapping her, beating her and locking her up in their old house. It later transpires that she was lying. She was having an affair with a married man, but made up the abduction story to account for her absence.

Typing "Mrs Sharpe and daughter kidnap accused" into Google comes up with The Franchise Affair by Josephine Tey.
