need help finding an artist!!!!!

    Strange request.....
    I can't remember the name of an artist or any of his songs and I need to find out.

    What I do know:
    • he plays the guitar
    • he was in the irish charts in the last 12-18 months
    • in his music video he jumps off the top of a building located on a pier and into the water, swims ashore and walks up to a girl he is singing to or about
    • in same video, or not, I'm not sure, he is sitting on train, black and white video for this part, hoddy up, ear phones in and is singing
    • his hair is very big!?!?!
    • in a different music video he is sitting high up on a beam that spans 2 motorway over-passes
    • all these vids are def based in the states
    • i think he is american
    • he does have a myspace page but I obviously cant find it
    • he is not very well known but had one or two hits
    • hes in his early to mid twenties
    like i said - strange request
    anyone know who I'm talking about? It's wrecking my head.
