Dallas to return - Irish style

    You heard it here first folks.
    Dallas is set to return - Irish style.

    Instead of being centred upon the lives of a Texan family of oil barons it's going to be centred upon
    the lives of a South Armagh family of oil smugglers known as the Slabs.

    It's being billed as a cross between Dallas, Glenroe and Malcolm in the Middle.
    Derek Davis is set to star in the lead road as Concrete Slab, with Twink as his bit on the side.
    Joe O'Shea is hotly tipped to take the role of Concrete's loyal but hot headed son Tayto.

    That's all I've heard for now although there has been rumours of G. Ryan being offered
    a cameo type role as a Carter McKay type figure...
