Moved from Travel to Fashion & Appearance where it would be better 'suited'.

/see what I did there :pac:

Okay, local mods feel free to move back if you like.

    Thanks,

You're not going to Royal Ascot and this isn't even the March festival in Cheltenham so nobody is going to give a XXXX what you wear because most of the people there will be hardened gamblers and not the fashion police!

If you're being entertained in a private box then ask your host, otherwise to quote the official Cheltenham website (drum roll)....

There is no dress code at Cheltenham

    Hi JoJO24,

Racecourses at this time of year are usually freezing especially if it is any way windy.
If i were you i'd wear a really nice coat and make sure your accessories are wow!.
there are lots of nice hats around at the moment which look great at the races and are in fashion. a nice bag, maybe leather loves and good shoes or boots.

If you are in a box and don't plan on being out and about much then a nice dress you won't freeze in could be agood idea.

OP...it really wont matter, its just an ordinary meeting at Cheltenham where most people will dress for the weather...wear a nice coat and scarf and a decent pair of boots...ist not a place to be all dressed up at this time of year !!

Agree with the other posters, it's not a place to be getting dolled up :) Wrap up, it can be very cold standing around. If you are staying in Cheltenham Town, and walking to/from the course, wear comfortable shoes/boots. It's about a 2.5 mile walk. Enjoy :D

Barbor and tweed are huge at the races at the moment. If you want to fit in and look like every one else.
